Kusuo Goes to Hell?

Coovaca122

It had barely been a few days, and (Y/n) was already starting to feel the effects of the contract. It felt like an imaginary rope tugging at her neck, trying to force her back to hell. But, since she was summoned here, she doesn't have much of a choice. (Y/n) has to talk to Kusuo; she can't keep him from this any longer.

"Kusuo," she called out as she approached his bedside. His book was floating a few feet in front of him as he read it. She saw his eyes flicker over to her, indicating he was listening. "I have to go back," she said calmly, with a tight-lipped smile. Instantly, his book dropped, and he sat up straighter. "What are you talking about? I told you that you don't have to go back," Kusuo argued, not looking pleased that she was bringing this up. "That's the thing, I do have to, I told you I can't stay here," she argued back, trying to get him to understand.

But Kusuo was not so willing to let you toss yourself back into hell, where you nearly died a second time. "Why? Who is stopping you?" Kusuo asked sternly. He had said this before, but at the time, you did not say anything. "I have made... particular deals with very particular people down there, who have plans with me in mind," she said, trying to be as vague as she could.

"A deal?" Kusuo asked with a raised eyebrow. She sees his eyes glow, trying to look for the chain binding her soul. As powerful as he is, he cannot break a soul contract. "Yes, and this demon is not particularly fond that I left hell," (Y/n) explained with a grin. But Kusuo did not return your grin. Actually, he looked quite pissed that you are being forced back to hell.

"Take me to hell," Kusuo demanded suddenly, which took you by surprise. "I don't think-" Kusuo was quick to cut you off. "You don't have a choice, I told you I won't let you leave my side again. You are taking me, or you are not going," Kusuo remarked with a dark look. "Why?" You asked, confused, why he was doing this, and why he wanted to go.

"Two reasons only, one to ensure you won't die again, and two, so I can chat with this demon," Kusuo explained as he held up two fingers. Oh, he was angry. "Alright, but how will you get there? Especially looking human?" (Y/n) asked as you gestured to him. "Easy," Kusuo said as he went to his closet and grabbed a mask he got from a night market. Putting it on his face, he added some of his powers to make the mask mold into his face.

"I already gave my parents a heads up, now all I need to do is this," Kusuo said as he walked over to the summoning circle. As he kicked at the circle, messing up the circle, (Y/n) felt a stronger pull. Kusuo was quick to grab her arm before a portal opened below. When they both stumbled out, they were in an alleyway.

Kusuo looked around with a curious glance. Hell looked way different from books. Above the sky was a red circle, with a pentagram within. The sky gave an eerie red hue. Other than that, the buildings looked like everyday homes, with dull tones. "Kusuo," (Y/n) called out to him, gaining his attention. She stretched her hand out to him, offering it to him. He took it, allowing her to lead the way through the town.

As he walked, he saw the different demons that skiddered past, avoiding (Y/n) like the plague. If they happened to spot her, they'd scramble in the opposite direction or hide. "Are you famous here?" Kusuo asked curiously. "I am indeed, as I introduced before, I am the Radio Demon. These demons would be my main victims since I can't use humans as my subjects anymore," (Y/n) explained with a grin.

"How pleasant... Where are you taking me?" Kusuo asked as he looked around. "To my work, more specifically-" A young voice cuts you off. "Alastor!!" A girl exclaimed, (Y/n) turned her head and spotted Charlie heading their way. "Ah... Charlie, darling, what brings you out here?" She greeted with a smile. "Looking for you! Where have you been? I was so worried!" Charlie said as she checked (Y/n) over for injuries. That's when she noticed (Y/n)'s hand connected with another person's hand.

"Huh? Who's this?" Charlie asked curiously. Surprisingly, Kusuo and Charlie stood at the same height. Kusuo was not amused that she practically ignored him. "This, my friend, is my good old friend Kusuo! He is a demon I met a while ago. I was just telling him about the hotel," (Y/n) lied smoothly. Charlie let out a gasp, practically glowing in excitement. "You want to be redeemed?!" Charlie asked with sparkles floating around her.

"Redeemed...?" Kusuo asked hesitantly, unsure if he wanted to talk to her. He already doesn't want to talk to her; her thoughts are basically screaming at him. It hurt listening to her thoughts. "Yes! Redeemed! Here, come with me! I'll show you to the hotel!" Charlie exclaimed as she went to grab his hand. He was quick to dodge her attempt, using (Y/n) as a shield.

"Ah, my friend doesn't like being grabbed, please refrain from doing that again," (Y/n) said as you gently pushed Charlie's hand away. "Oh? I am so sorry!" Charlie quickly apologized. "It's alright, why don't you lead the way?" (Y/n) said with a polite smile. "Huh? Oh right! This way, my fellow guest!" Charlie said as she skipped away.

"Is that the demon?" Kusuo asked as he glared at Charlie's back. "No, she does not hold my soul. She is the princess of hell; being amicable with her will get you far," (Y/n) explained as she followed after Charlie, taking Kusuo with her. "Then why follow her?" Kusuo asked with a grimace. "Because she is the demon I am tasked to protect and help," (Y/n) said bluntly. Kusuo's brow rose in surprise; the princess needing protection and help? How weak was she?
