When Tomorrow Comes Along Wolves And Waters One Shots
//this was a side one shot based off that big one i did bc i hate myself
"DO YOU HAVE TO LEAVE?," the brown-haired boy spoke, tears rimming his pale blue eyes as LT looked down, avoiding his gaze. Rin bit his lip as his body shook, stepping closer to the giant in front of him. He went in to hug him, but LT just grasped his small hand with his own- and much larger- hand. Rin looked up at him, trying to catch his sight, but it was no use. The moist hair around them seemed much more wet. It wasn't the droplets of soft rain that damped the air, however. He did not speak a word. LT never have spoke since Rin met him. No matter how much he tried, the only thing he ever did was nod. The only time he ever heard his voice was the first night he met him. His voice was sweet, soft, like his mother's honey. He was singing a calming melody to him that night. All he wanted was to hear it again. The man than brought Rin closer, grasping his shoulders and back, resting his head against LT's chest. He brought him close, resting his large head against his own. Than sobs came, LT felt him shake and wail into his chest. He looked up at him, his pale eyes wide and lips curled down into a shaky frown. A sigh was heard as Rin's body was lifted into LT's arms, his warmth securing his tiny frame. He didn't want the moment to end as much as Rin did. He wanted to hold the boy forever, to kiss his forehead stay. He than, with much hesitation, placed Rin back onto the grassy and mud coated floor below him. He still cried, but they were much less wild. LT tried to remain as calm as he could, to not show the emotions he wanted to. He bit his lip and swallowed the lump back down his throat. He felt tears spill gently over, his own face twisting up and his own lips quivering. "Why do you have to go?" His voice was filled with desperation, his throat cracked at every letter that came out. "Why can't you just answer me this one time? Why are you just going to leave this like it was nothing?"Rin's daze left the boy as he started to sob again. "Do I...do I mean that little to you? Do I not matter? Are you bored of me?"LT stared back at him. "No.""You mean much, much more than I have expressed. You are my world, my being, my Vivi," he continued on with his words, tears spilling over as his calm facade slowly melted away. "The people know about me now. They will find you and they will not only kill me, but kill you and your family. It's happened once to me, and I refuse to let it happen again to you. For your safety and my sanity, I must leave so your soul can remain where it belongs: in Friska."Rin stood back in awe. His mouth hung open and his body stiffened. LT bent down and touched his cheek, his pale cheek both warm and wet to his palm. The smaller man reached up to wrap his arms around his neck. He brushed LT's hair to the side, his hand gently grazing his wolf ear. LT grimaced, quickly pulling Rin's hand away from his ear and toppled backwards, shielding his head. "LT?"He looked up when he heard his now-hushed voice, his body now quivering as much as his. He could not speak nor move, his heart raced too fast and his body was too weak. He tried to compose himself to talk again, but he had no more will left. His vocal cords have shut down. They became as useless as they have been. But he tried to gather everything he had, every fiber that held his own soul together. Between his sobs, he sat back up, looking directly down at Rin and cupped his face once more. He sat down on the grass, the mud drenching him more than he was. He looked down at Rin.Rin heard a soft voice come out, he watched his lips move again as he wrapped his arms around his large frame. LT held his head close to his chest and rested his face against his soft head."I love you so, Vivi! And when tomorrow comes alongBye-bye is what I'll say when I turn and walk awayOh this sleepy little town, nearly ashes on the groundI'll leave it all behind, even thoughts of you and I...'Rin looked back down, sobbing once again as LT remained calm. He rocked the boy, his arms gently cradling him as if he was a small child. Rin tried his best to not cry, he tried to be happy, but he just couldn't get the thought out of his head. He would never have this moment again. This would be the last moments he would have before he would disappear from Rin's life forever. "Oh, I let out all those words, and I finally felt your touch,And yet despite all that, I said nothing at allOh, I love you so, ViviI love you so, ViviSay goodbye to me, Vivi, since that's all our love comes to"Rin lifted up his hand to his ear once again. LT did not run away this time, he did not pull his hand away. He only winced when his gentle fingers glided again. All he did was look back at Rin and sighed softly."Goodbye."
