Past 

The night of Anya's engagement 

After a tiring day Anya came back to her room Sera and Elena both weren't leaving her side at all. After a long round of teasing she came back to her room. 

She got rid of the heavy dress and jewellery she wore for her engagement. She looked at her hand which was adorned with Henna. There Caliban's name was beautifully written and the colour was dark as well. There is a saying in India that the colour of one's henna reflects how much her husband loves her. Her mother told her this which made her blush like a mad girl. 

The ring was so beautiful and felt like a big responsibility on her shoulder. She is finally engaged to the man for whom she took birth. Today is the happiest day of her life.

She has changed her clothes and sat down on the bed to call Caliban and share how she is feeling after getting engaged and wanted to know as well how he is feeling after getting engaged to him. 

"Congratulations on the engagement Anya." Anya heard a voice which startled her 

"Who is it? Who talked to me just now?" Anya asked scared because it's not them 

It's not their voice. She knows their voice and presence both. 

"I am outside of your room. If you give me permission I will enter. It's Jeremy Crystal's husband." Jeremy said and Anya's mood changed 

She remembered that there is someone else as well who is behind her as she was his wife some years ago but it doesn't matter now she is Caliban's and nothing is going to change that. 

"I don't think it's an appropriate time to visit my room king Jeremy. If you want to visit you can when my husband will be with me at least one of them will be with me." Anya said clearly

"You're so innocent Anya I don't understand how you can even accept them after whatever they have done. Like how can you forgive them? How can the Moon Goddess forgive them?" Jeremy asked and the word Moon Goddess caught her attention 

"What do you mean by that? Listen I don't know what you're talking about but don't bother me. I don't know who this Moon Goddess is, so don't even ask me." Anya said 

"You don't know who the Moon Goddess is? Do you even know anything about Dark Lords and Moon Goddess?" Jeremy asked and Anya was shocked 

Dark Lord? She has heard this name before as well. She knows about him but she doesn't know who he is. Curiosity got the best of her! She wants to know about him and Queen of Heaven both. She heard Crystal talking about them as well when she left Heaven. 

"Okay come inside i want to talk to you." Anya said but before she checked herself if she was decent enough or not once satisfied she called him 

"You were looking breathtakingly beautiful tonight but Alas your grooming wasn't for me. Your beauty wasn't for me to admire. Are you happy to become his? Even after knowing what a monster all of them are." Jeremy said and Anya didn't liked the way he was insulting her husbands

"Stop talking like this about my husbands king Jeremy. Give them respect, they are Emperors of Risentria." Anya retorted 

"I am giving them enough respect but personally I will say they don't deserve to get that. They are monsters, otherwise who can torture and kill their wife?" Jeremy said and Anya had enough of his riddles 

"Listen I'm not understanding anything you're saying so stop talking in riddles. What do you mean by torturing and killing their wife? Damien never tortured Samantha okay? He loves her very much. I know he is a bit rude with me but I know he loves me. Rishav told me that as well." Anya defended them 

"Either you're a fool or they manipulated you very well. Dark Lords can never love anyone else other than themselves. Dark Lords are infamous for being epitome of evilness and killing their own wife. Don't tell me you didn't know that The morningstar brothers are the Dark Lords and Moon Goddess is Samantha the former Queen of Heaven" Jeremy said and Anya felt as if someone snatched the ground beneath her feet 

"What is Jeremy saying? How can they be the Dark Lords? Then what did Samantha say about her being Jupiter's daughter? What is happening?" Anya asked herself 

"You're lying! They can't be that. Samantha herself told me that she is Jupiter's daughter and she was given to Damien as a gift from Heaven and he loves her very much. She committed suicide because she couldn't become a mother. Stop messing with me, I know you're lying to me." Anya said not trusting whatever he said to her 

She can't believe that they betrayed her and cheated her like this. She has become intimate with them and she loves them as well. Her Rishav can't lie to her no he can't. 

"Oh really? I don't think so. Okay fine call her and talk to her. Let me see who is telling you all these bull shit stories." Jeremy said and Anya called Samantha 

Once, twice, thrice but she didn't come out. She wasn't talking to her like before. 

"Try calling Crystal." Jeremy said when he saw her fallen face 

"Crystal, talk to me." Anya said and crystal came out 

"What happened human? Why is he here again? What if they see him?" Crystal asked getting tensed 

"They aren't here my love, you're safe! They have fooled her in the name of your Goddess. Your real Goddess is sleeping inside her and a facade was created or someone pretended to be her and talked to Anya. Let me call the real Samantha the former queen of Heaven." Jeremy said and did something with his hand 

"I am summoning you, the Epitome of Purity come out and guide your human who is misguided by the Epitome of Evilness." Jeremy said closing his eyes and Anya felt a shift in her body 

Something is changed, she could feel it clearly, 

"Who are you?" Anya found herself talking to Jeremy but in a different way 

"I am the king of Avalor Moon Goddess. Give me your blessings. I am married to your creature Crystal who is unfortunately dead and mixed with you. I am here to take her back with me. If you help me I will be able to take her back." Jeremy said and Samantha couldn't understand anything 

"Where am I? What is this place?" Samantha asked him 

"Who are you?" Anya asked herself because she couldn't understand what's happening 

"I am Samantha," Samantha replied slowly 

The way of talking is completely different from Anya. It feels like a shy child is talking, not an adult.

"Let me show you everything, Goddess. Then you will understand what is happening. I am the king of Avalor Jeremy. Greetings from my side. " Jeremy showed her everything and Samantha realised where she is 

She remembered the curse she gave Damien and the reason behind it as well. 

She took a while to grasp everything and understand what was going on. She felt overwhelmed with the current memories which made her feel weak. After a long sleep for years she finally woke up today and that too because of someone else not her mate. She felt hurt because of it but didn't make it obvious. 

"So Damien Morningstar lied to my human? He hasn't changed at all? Is he still the same? My death went to vain?" Samantha asked herself as tears pooled in her eyes 

"You're the real Samantha?" Anya asked once again shocked 

"Yes, I am Samantha, your soul." Samantha said once again to make the girl believe and Anya felt as if her breathing stopped for a moment 

Her heart was broken brutally. She loved him even after knowing what Sheryaar has done to Marium still and in return he got this? Betrayal? She is real Samantha not the one who talked to her till now 

She remembered Rishav's words now back then she didn't take him seriously but now she understood the real meaning behind his words. 

He clearly told her "in this world everything can be fake but not my love for you. If here anything is true that is my love" 

He meant that his love is true and everything else is a lie. 

"Dark Lord Damien has planned out everything very well. He would have succeeded in taking you with him if I wasn't here. Tell her everything Moon Goddess maybe then she will realise in which mess she is right now. Tonight she got engaged to their human without even knowing their true identity and your real back story. I hope you will guide her through this and think about me as well. Goodbye Moon Goddess." Saying Jeremy left from there 

"Why did you commit suicide Samantha?" Anya asked without any emotions in her voice 

"Damien crushed my baby bump and killed our babies so in anger and pain I cursed him and committed suicide. I didn't want him to get me back easily. That's why I gave him a hard curse but it wasn't impossible for him to bring me back. He could only take me back when he would have changed completely. I wanted him to change but it seems like he never changed. On top of it he messed up every human life and ended up killing me every time and now he is tricking you so he can take me back. I don't remember everything exactly. I don't remember most of the things about my past but I know one thing that I love him very much more than I ever loved anything and our children were everything for me but he killed them and for that I can't forgive him but I couldn't hate him completely either because if I had done that I wouldn't have been able to give him another chance to change himself. If I had destroyed myself completely he would have never changed himself but he didn't change now either." Samantha said and Anya couldn't take it any more 

She doesn't want to hear anything anymore. She is done hearing everything. She won't marry Caliban even though Caliban has done nothing yet but what guarantee is there he won't? She wanted  Samantha to return to Damien as they both love each other so much but here it's a lie. Their Love is a Lie. She loved the ones who were nothing but liars. They played with her emotions and for that she won't forgive them at all. 

She broke down in tears covering her mouth so her screams won't reach others. She was crying in pain of heartbreak. She can't believe that Rishav did that to her. His words were so comforting to her if everything is a Lie that means the love she felt from him was a lie as well. All of them lied to her that they loved her and like a fool she believed them and fell for them. She wants to slap herself hard for this but now what will she do? She needs to get out of Caliban's clutches at any cost. She won't be able to look at them the way she did till now but that doesn't mean she will go to Jeremy either. What Elijah did is not acceptable at all and she won't forgive him either. He defamed her in front of the whole college and she can never forget that. 

She couldn't sleep that night no matter how much she tried. The moment she was closing her eyes all the memories of them were hitting her hard. 

She hates herself for letting them touch her and use her as they please. She needs to cancel her wedding with him and she can't continue this drama. She knows he won't let her go easily at all. It's going to be very hard but she won't give up until she gets freedom from them. She loved them and they betrayed her. Now she will hate them because that's what they deserve for breaking her heart. She won't let Samantha go back to Damien at all. She promised herself once that she will make sure Samantha returns to him but now she will stop him no matter what it takes to do it. 

Next morning she didn't leave her room and asked for food in her room itself. Her mother thought it's the tiredness of the party so she didn't doubt her. She didn't meet Sera or Elena either; they didn't bother her, letting her rest properly. 

She didn't contact Caliban because she was thinking about how to deal with him. How to break off the marriage skillfully but before she could do anything Caliban called her and getting overwhelmed by everything she said those things to him and cut the call irrationally. 

Then everyone knew what happened. Right now her agenda is saving herself from him and finding out about the past. If she doesn't know she won't be able to judge properly either. She will fix everything in her life even if for that she needs to take drastic steps she will take it.
