FROM THEN ON, EDDIE NEVER TOOK HIS EYES OFF OF YOU.and there was two reasons for that.one being he was absolutely terrified you were going to get taken by vecna all of a sudden again.the second being that he found a new hobby in watching you. doing anything, really.you were just so
gorgeous.whenever you would smile, his heart would flutter and his cheeks would burn.whenever you would laugh, his chest filled with pride at the fact he was the one to make you laugh. he felt grateful, honoured, even, to hear that beautiful laugh of yours.was this what liking someone in a romantic way felt like?sure, he had the occasional hookup here and there, but there was never anything like this.all that was only for fun, mere pleasure.but when he looked at you, he felt love.his heart would beat rapidly and his hands would go clammy.he loves you.you were the first person to make him feel this way, and he was sure you'd be the last.and he wasn't the only one feeling this way.you often caught yourself staring mindlessly at eddie.he was honestly very handsome.and while you hated to admit it, you were sure you liked him, loved him, even.though you were scared.scared he doesn't actually like you.you'd only liked someone once before, in your first year of highschool.he was almost the polar opposite of eddie.he was sporty, and honestly a bit of a jackass.but you hadn't seen that at the time, so you let yourself get caught up in the fantasy you two could ever be together.and he played along, too.you changed a lot about yourself just to be more appealing to him.lighter coloured makeup, more revealing and lighter-coloured clothing. all to make him happy.and when you thought you were finally happy with him, he admitted to it all being a joke.he laughed and made fun of you, calling you a murderer. that was something you were used to being called back there, but you never expected it from him.after all that, you had spent weeks getting bullied and made fun of until it finally wore down and you were back to being a regular old outcast.that's how you ended up like you are now.you embraced yourself and what you actually liked, deciding he was useless and you were way better off without him.and then you moved to hawkins, the first person catching your eye being eddie.he was handsome, and funny.and he was a geek, unlike the guy you've actually forgotten the name of.he was nice to you, and it seemed genuine.and then you ended up caught in this whole vecna business.but it was okay, because you were with him.
