I'm Not Weak (Chainsaw Man Various x Female Yuji! Reader)

Chapter 9

Coovaca122

(Y/n) swung her legs back and forth as she sat impatiently in her chair. The television played the recent occurrence, informing her that she wasn't the only one targeted. The news showed pictures of the different areas where the hunters were attacked. One of those places included the bodies that Sukuna hung up on display, something the broadcaster had to blur out.

Denji casually ate an apple, even though the apples were meant for Aki when he woke up. Power finally had enough of the television and turned it off. Aki slowly woke up and he turned his attention to his teammates, watching as Denji and Power paid him no attention. "You're finally awake! How are you feeling?" (Y/n) asked worriedly.

"Like shit" Aki mumbled as he went back to staring at the ceiling. "AHHH!!!" Power suddenly screamed, causing (Y/n) to jump in fright. "What the hell?!" (Y/n) exclaimed as she eyed Power judgingly. "Relinquish thy apple!!" Power demanded as she tried to grab the apple from Denji. "How barbaric" Sukuna scoffed in (Y/n)'s head, earning a sigh from his vessel as she settled down.

But, she was forced to stand up as Denji and Power struggled around, knocking everything in their path. Finally, (Y/n) had enough and used brute strength to separate them. "Will you two knock it off?! This is a hospital, not a playground! Settle down or wait outside!" She demanded as she glared at the two.

She really hated people like these two, yelling in a place filled with patients who needed silence. "Who else?" Aki asked suddenly, gaining all of their attention. "Who lived? From division four?" Aki asked calmly, now sitting up in his bed. The three stared at each other before separating. "That runt, Kobeni, I guess the quiet guy with the glasses counts. Except he quit Public Safety" Denji explained, while Power munched on the apple she stole.

"Do you two mind... If I talk to (Y/n) alone?" Aki mumbled as he stared down at his bed. "Uh, yeah, plus Makima was asking for me and Powey anyways. I think Makima wanted to see (Y/n) too, but we can tell her she'll be a little late" Denji said as he grabbed the basket of apples. But, before the two left, Denji decided last minute to leave one apple for Aki.

Soon, it was just Aki and (Y/n), alone and in pure dead silence. "(Y/n), I'd like to talk to your devil... Alone" Aki said as he glanced slightly at her. "I- Uh... Sure?" (Y/n) said unsure, she didn't want to leave Sukuna unattended for long. But, reluctantly, she allowed her body to fall limp, as tattoos covered her face.

"You have a lot of nerve, calling for me without my permission," Sukuna said as he snapped his eyes open. (Y/n)'s once beautiful (e/c) eyes were now blood red. "You know, don't you? That I have two packs, well now one pack" Aki said as he grabbed his sword and placed it on his bed. "The Curse Devil, ironic really," Sukuna said with an amused smirk.

His red eyes then flicked to the side, his smirk turning into a frown. "Get to the point, I'm not a very patient being" he demanded as he crossed his arms. "I want to make a pact with you," Aki said honestly, as he eyed the devil's reaction. As expected, Sukuna let out a loud, mocking laugh. It took him a good minute to finally calm down and he leaned forward with a smirk.

"No," Sukuna said with an "innocent" smile, and Aki turned to give the curse his full attention. "I know I don't have long to live, I'll give you anything you want" Aki pleaded, earning a snicker from Sukuna. "Begging now? That's rich coming from someone like you. Not only can you not save yourself, but you also can't save those you love. It's pathetic" Sukuna said with a grin.

"I know I'm weak and pathetic, that's why I'm going to you for help," Aki said calmly, as he fearlessly looked at Sukuna. "I hate brats like you. Thinking you can order me around as if I'm obliged to accept" Sukuna admitted as he glared at Aki. "Power told me about you, how you're dangerous and powerful. It's something I need to complete my goals" Aki said casually.

"I couldn't care less about your goals, nor your lousy rewards. Maybe if you had something worth my while, I would've accepted. But, you're nothing but a broken human with a broken dream, running to a path of death" Sukuna mocked as he stood up. "What would you want? I offered everything I have!" Aki asked desperately, almost irrationally.

"I don't feel like telling you, worthless human. Don't call for me again, our next meeting won't be just casual talk" Sukuna warned before exiting the room. Once outside, he allowed (Y/n) to take back control, who slightly stumbled a bit. "Well, how did it go?" She asked as she started to head out of the hospital at a slow pace, not caring if Makima was waiting for her.

"I still hate that punk" Sukuna spat in her mind, earning him a hum from his vessel. "So, not well then" (Y/n) concluded with a lopsided smile. "Don't force me out again, I did not agree to talk to him" Sukuna growled at her. "Alright, alright, sorry!" (Y/n) said with her arms raised.

(Y/n) walked with Denji and Power, as they followed Makima through the cemetery. The graves stretched for miles, and they can barely see them scattered on the hills. Eventually, they stopped at one grave, and two people stood in front of it, most likely their new instructor. "Gojo-Sensei!" (Y/n) cheered as she ran up to her Sensei, and hugged him.

"(Y/n)! It's good to see you again!" Satoru said with a large smile, embracing her back. "What are you doing here, Gojo-Sensei?" (Y/n) asked curiously, as she parted from him. "Well, I'm here to train you! And that guy is going to train your buddies" Satoru informed casually. "Huh?" Power and Denji mumbled in confusion, confused about why they got a separate teacher.

"Now, why don't we go right over here?" Satoru said as he ushered (Y/n) away from Makima and the strange man. "Huh?" (Y/n) mumbled, now also confused. But, that did not last long when Denji and Power's teacher started to attack them relentlessly. Makima smirked in satisfaction and decided to leave, knowing her "students" are being well taken care of.

"Are they going to be alright?" (Y/n) asked worriedly, as she watched Denji and Power "die" during his attacks. "They'll be fine, don't focus on them. You and I have our own training to do" Satoru said as he patted her shoulder reassuringly. "Osh!" (Y/n) said as she saluted him, before getting into a fighting stance.

Their training went until nightfall, with (Y/n) nearly drained of energy, and Denji and Power traumatized. "You three did well today! Don't forget, we're doing the same routine tomorrow!" Satoru chirped as he casually drapes an arm over the teacher's shoulder. "Not for my students, we're going to do something a little different. I'll pick you both up at your place" Kishibe informed Power and Denji.

"Well... You all rest up easy~! To-dalu~!" Satoru said with a childish wave as he skipped off. Kishibe rolled his eyes as he followed after the childish teacher. Denji finally fell over, too exhausted to keep standing any longer. "Come on, up you go" (Y/n) said as she lifted Denji up, helping him back to his feet. "How... How many times did I die?" Denji mumbled, loud enough for them to hear.

"I wasn't really paying attention, so I'm not sure" (Y/n) answered with a guilty look. "I think it was 20, but I was mostly unconscious. So there's really no telling" Power said with a shrug. "Come on, let's go back" (Y/n) said as she walked forward, dragging Denji with her. "Right," Power agreed as she followed after them.

They walked along the road, forced to walk back home, as both their teachers left them without transportation. "(Y/n), can we trade teachers?" Denji asked as he walked next to her. "Nuh-uh, no way! He's meant to train only me! No backing out of your training with your teacher!" (Y/n) exclaimed with her arms crossed in an X shape.

"Yes, we cannot run away, the old coot wouldn't let us anyways" Power commented, technically agreeing with (Y/n). "Damn... Why couldn't our teacher be as cool as (Y/n)'s?" Denji grumbled as he frowned. "He is cool, but his training is also draining" (Y/n) complained as she slumped forward. "It's for your own good" Sukuna reminded her, despite hating Satoru to the core.
