I was completely confounded on hearing my name.The spotlight focussed on me and a thunder of claps sounded throughout the tent in unison.

I walked forward to claim my award.

'April wins the chance to go on a trip to any place she desires!'

More clapping!

I walked down the stage in dismay-faking a smile. I was supposed to come second and not first. I saw Hazel cry.She pulled me into a tight hug.

'Hazel! I'm sorry,' i confessed.

'I'm so happy for ya,' she said. 

I stared at her confused.

'You came first and we can go to any place we wish_we can go to SYDNEY TO MEET JUSTIN!,' she said pressing my shoulders.

I nodded.

'Not we. You are going to Sydney alone.'

'What?'

'Only one can go on the trip and you can't be so sure about meeting Justin.'

Her expression changed.

'No,No way. I want you to come with me too,' she said.

'Hazel________'

I sighed-placing a hand in my forehead.

Suddenly Lucy strutted in front of me-flashing her teeth.

'I wonder why is she so happy. She hates Justin,' I said making a face.

'SHE'S HAPPY COZ SHE TOOK AWAY MY CHANCE OF MEETING JUSTIN,' said Hazel ferociously.

'I feel bad.'

Hazel smiled at me.

'Bae, you came first coz you are perfect. I am happy for ya, believe me. My luck sucks,' she said laughing.

Suddenly a thought clicked in  my mind.

'Hazel, what if we exchange our prize with Lucy?'

Hazel's face lit up.

'Wow! That's a good idea.'

'Let's talk to her.'

'Lucy is a bitch! I don't want to watch her drama.'

'Let's give it a try.'

Someone tapped on my shoulder. I turned back to face Lucy with a scowl on her face.

Oops! Maybe she heard Hazel call her a bitch!

'April congratulations!,' she said, shaking my hand. 'You really surprised me.'

'You equally surprised us too,' said Hazel.

'H-A-Z-E-L, I'm not talking to ya,' she said pointing a finger at her.

'Don't point_______'

I pre-empted.

'Thanks Lucy. Congrats to you too.'

She nodded and stomped away. I asked Hazel to stay at her place while i talked to Lucy.

'Lucy!'

She turned back unwillingly.

'I got only two minutes,' she said with contempt.

'Well, i was thinking about exchanging our prizes.'

She raised her eyebrows.

'Coz Hazel loves that psycho?,' she whispered and gave a idiotic grin.

'Look Lucy, i'm really sorry about that incident.'

'Bae, i forget things easily especially those that is toxic my mind. I don't even know what you are talking about.'

'Lucy_'

'Well, i don't have any problem in exchanging prize. Who wanna go to that psycho's show?,' she said rolling her eyes.

'What? I mean wow. THANKS LUCY,' i said with excitement. I never thought dealing with Lucy can be a piece of cake.

I turned back and gave a thumbs-up gesture to Hazel letting her know that Lucy had agreed to the deal.. She was stunned.

'He's a brat!'

'Lucy, i don't want a fight brewing up between you and her now and she's really thankful to you.'

She laughed coldly.

'Well, you gotta talk to the manager about exchanging the prizes.'

'I will.'

'Tell Hazel that i'm a bitchy bitch and i love being that,' she said and walked away.

uff! So she had heard Hazel.

I walked back to Hazel.

'I CAN'T BELIEVE,' she said jumping with excitement.

'But we have to talk to the manager.'

The manager was a short plump man in his forties. He had ginger hair_a bizarre haircut and gleamed in gold. Gold chains_Gold watch_Gold stud and even a gold teeth.He was conversing with a group of men_grinning happily with a glass of wine in one hand.

'Yes, my ladies,' he said offering us wine.

'No thanks,' i said and explained the situation to him. He escaped into a deep thought for a second.

'Is it a game or what? It iz a competition and you are talking about exchanging prizes? Thatz ridiculouz,' he shouted.

'But Lucy and i have no problem in exchanging the prizes.'

''But i have a problem. Such thingz have never happened and it won't happen now too,' he said taking a sip from the glass.

'Mr.Shaggy, can we talk alone?,' asked Hazel beseechingly.

I stared at her confusion and she winked at me.

'Sure,' said Shaggy leading the way.

The trees hid them and i saw Hazel put her hands around his shoulders. Shaggy relaxed. My phone beeped and it was Hazel. I picked it up.

'Mr.Shaggy, you are wearing an expensive tuxedo. What if i make you remove it?,' she cooed.

I couldn't believe my ears.

'What do you mean?,' he said taking a step back.

'I mean Justin is my life. I want to meet him badly and you are not going to be a hurdle or else i will make sure that your life turns into a hell.'

'You are threatening me?,' said Shaggy and guffawed.

Hazel laughed too. 'Mr.Shaggy i know about your affair.'

'W-what are you saying?'

I could feel the tension in his voice.

'I saw you with her backstage and what is your wife__'

'how will my wife come to know about it, you bitch. You got no proof that i have an affair,' said Shaggy with gritted teeth.

'you just said it now with your fucking mouth and i got it recorded in my phone,' she said spinning the phone in air.

Shaggy looked startled.

'No.No,No, don't you dare tell anything to my wife. You can ex-exchange the prizes.'

'Whoa, thanks Shaggy,' she said making her way towards me.

Shaggy still stood at his place shocked. 'Hey, delete that video.'

'I'm sorry, i never took any video of you and her smooching,' said Hazel running away.

Shaggy looked more shocked. 'YOU LIER,WAIT!'

But we had already fled and soon we got lost among the crowd. I couldn't stop laughing. 

'How did you know?'

'Well, i saw this man smooching a lady backstage and she was too young for him. So i guessed that he might be having an affair and he turned out to be the manager. Lol!,' she said.

'You are a wonder,' i said.

'Anything for Justin.'

We laughed together.

'So April, WE ARE GOING TO SYDNEY!,'she shouted.

We caught few people's attention but Hazel was wild with excitement.

'SYDNEY! HERE WE COME,' she said lifting her glass of champagne in the air.
